In 2009 are 5022 people confronted with eviction in the Netherlands. House rent debt is the main reason, often caused by a divorce or some other problem. Can you imagine what it means for a mother with 4 children to be put on the street?
ILMF is compassionate about these people and wants to help. To start with, we want to work on preventing any forced home eviction by contacting the involved authorities and help negotiate a deal to provide for the family in need. We want to help the homeless victims find care, temporary housing and household equipment.
The well known shelters in our country are full, and we need to find a long term solution for this problem. There is a chronic shortage of care for families that are forcefully evicted from their homes. ILMF wants to address this issue and stand up for the 'lost'. Do you want to help? |
